 Charine completed a Bachelors degree in Science, and Honours degree in Psychology at the University of Stellenbosch and a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Johannesburg. She has experience in adult, adolescent and child psychopathology and behaviour, having refined her clinical skills at well known tertiary institutes including Sterkfontein Psychiatric Hospital and Tara H. Moros Centre.
She has a special interest in working with adolescents and children and her warm open nature makes her a caring and nurturing person centred play therapist.
In adult therapy her fields of interest includes amongst others, depression, anxiety, panic disorders, eating disorders, adjustment disorders, sexual disorders and personality disorders.
She also has experience in crisis management, trauma, couples counselling and family therapy.
